Another Multi-Alarm Fire Destroys Lasicks Restaurant/Bar
NOVEMBER 29, 2004 - E121 and Truck 12 arrived in the 9100 block of Baltimore Avenue to find smoke and fire showing from the rear. This fast moving fire, assisted by a broken gas line, quickly engulfed the building in flames. Truck 12’s crew assisted in ventilation and attempted to search until the evacuation tones were hit and operations became exterior only. E121 also placed a 2 ½ inch line in service and made entry to the second floor only to be overcome by the fire. Units remained on the scene for a few hours hitting some hot spots and cleaning up.
