Around 1130 Truck 812 was alerted to the 7600 block of Fontainebleau Dr for the reported laundry room on fire. Chief 812 and Chief 812B also ran the call. First arriving units reported a 5 story multifamily dwelling with nothing evident. Once units made the 4th floor, they reported smoke on the floor with a possible fire. Truck 812 arrived and was assigned Division 5. Truck 812 performed the primary search on Division 5 as well as checked for extension. Units found a fire in the laundry room on Division 4 and quickly extinguished the same. Chief 812 had Division 4, and Chief 812B had the vent group. Company 12 operated for about 1.5 hours before returning to service.
