Members Tackle Driver Training
On Friday July 21st, members staffing the station during a VSU day decided to tackle some early morning driver training. FF/EMT Cotner and FF/EMT Giudice first went over rural water supply and drafting operations with Engine 121. After that, both covered supplying another engine company. Personnel discussed friction loss, engine pressures, and fire ground flow. Scooby, (the pup in the photos) was not a fan of the drafting practical, as he could not find a hydrant to relieve himself. A special thank you to the Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute for allowing us to use their facility.
