Station 12 Lit Red for National Fallen Firefighters Foundation
On Monday October 1st, 2018, members of Company 12, National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF), and The Clarice took part in lighting the firehouse red for Light the Night. Light the Night is an initiative from the NFFF as a memorial to those firemen who lost their lives in the line of duty. Many line officers, chiefs, alumni, and city leaders, including College Park Mayor Patrick Wojahn attended to help place red lights around the station. The lights will remain up for the remainder of the week until Saturday October 6th. Earlier this week, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan also lit up the Government House in Annapolis in support of the event.
A special thank you to the staff at The Clarice who generously donated their time and equipment.
