Truck 12 was alert to respond to the 2100 blk of Saranac st in Co. 34’s first due for a report of a fire in the house. Engine 834 arrived on the scene with smoking pushing from the basement. Truck 12 was the first arriving special service and operated as such. E834 and Tk12 operated in the basement. Tk12 conducted the primary search of the basement with no findings. E834 was able to get a quick knock on the fire with no extension to the first floor. Tk12 ventilated the basement and first floor.
