The 2021 CPVFD Golf Tournament is returning!  It will be held on Monday October 18th, 2021 beginning at 8:30am, at the University of Maryland Golf Course.

The annual CPVFD golf tournament has become our largest single fundraising event of the year, each year that it has been held. Unfortunately, like many other events, the 2020 CPVFD tournament slated to be held last June (which was to be the 10th annual event) was forced to be cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Fast forward to this spring, we are still in the midst of the pandemic with many local restrictions on gatherings and events still in place in Prince George’s County, but thankfully, there seems to be an end in sight. To that end, the Department has made the decision to move the tournament to a fall date for this year and play the 2021 tournament!

Over the next several weeks we will be finalizing the tournament website to enable registration for sponsors and golfers as well as add specific event details. We will be posting the link to the official tournament website as soon as it comes available.

***Note*** Going forward after this year, the goal will be to continue the annual event as we were pre-COVID and play the 2022 tournament again in the late spring/early summer of 2022.
