Update: 4900 Lakeland Rd. Malfunctioning water heater. Placing the box in service.

Shortly before midnight last night, Cart 12 responded to Lake Artemesia to assist on the water rescue. CRT12 accessed the lake via local trails + assisted with the search, provided lighting, moved personnel/equipment + eventually assisted w/recovery before returning to service.

This afternoon Co. 12 was a staging area/area command post for water rescue units and command resources responding to the heavy rains and associated flooding in the area. Co. 12 volunteers staffed multiple suppression, EMS and support units during the storm serving the community.
Quick preliminary wrap up from today’s response to flooding. We will also be sharing additional footage we received from crews in the field today. A tremendous response from #PGFD crews and our mutual aid partners today. @AlexandriaVAFD @AACoFD @ffxfirerescue

Update: 5000 Rhode Island Ave. Tk12 second arriving truck, 360 complete with nothing evident. Units made a knock on the vehicle fire and are beginning to set up ventilation.
